Yonna Creason
Yonna Creason is a passionate and experienced leader, Registered Nurse, and holder of a Master’s degree in Strategic Management, with 25 years of executive leadership in rural health organizations. After the heartbreaking loss of her son, Yonna redirected her career to focus on making a difference in the lives of others, serving as the Quality Improvement Director at OU Sooner Health Access Network.
As a Certified Grief Educator, she is deeply committed to understanding and teaching about grief, bereavement, and trauma. Yonna is redefining Quality Management by integrating empathy, human-centered approaches, and prioritizing self-care for healthcare employees.
A proud member of the Muskogee Creek Nation, Yonna enjoys spending her free time camping, gardening, crafting, and cherishing moments with her grandchildren. In honor of her late son, she founded the annual fundraiser Guiding Gavin and Guiding Grief, which supports at-risk youth in Tulsa. Yonna’s commitment to healing and transformation extends into her work as a founding Board member and current Board President, where her leadership continues to inspire and drive positive change.
